I have a kodak easyshare C813. It's a really nice camera, but I already know that I will be following this all threw school. I only need photo 1 and 2 for my major, but I guess I'll make this my minor since almost all the classes are the same. There are 5 other classes for a photo major. 1 of them I am already taken, 2 I'll have next quarter and then I'll pick up photo 3 and 4.

So, the one I was looking at is a Cannon, but the teacher says it won't carry me threw all the classes, so I have to scratch that idea. What do you recommend Wise Rosie??

what is needed or specs for major then !!? sounds like you are going to have to have an inbetweenie but if you have to go for full digi SLR you better get saving!!

the biggest thing is I need to be able to print an 8x10 picture with out the distortions and without using photoshop. I need to be able to completely control all setting on the camera. I need to be able to use different lines. The teacher is going to give me a paper at the next class that will cover everything. I"m sure this will cost more then I'll be able to come up with. Thank goodness for income time!!

oh really 8 x10 should not be a prob to print might just need bigger mega pixel camera,will wait and see what spec is first from you
