Reveal #2

How cute are my kids?! I mean really. When I showed my January reveal pages to my husband last night for his opinion, he said, "Of course your pages are cute, I mean look at our kids!" And you know I have to agree. Colin with those huge cheeks and Natalie with that big ole' grin. I can't believe how YOUNG they look. These pictures were taken about a year and a half ago. This is how far behind in Natalie's scrapbook I am (!!).
I started out with a Tangerine base cardstock. I really wanted to bring the orange out in the flower patterned paper. Next came my two different color swirl papers, Pinky Paper and Kelly Panacci Turquoise. All I did was cut them in half and lay them down.
I added a piece of Kiwi colored cardstock from SU! and matted my 5X7 photos using some YoYo Yellow. I really love experimenting with different sized photos. I use to only order the regular size and now I am surprised at how many other sizes I order. It just gives the page a little something extra I think and I always like to blow up important photos for a page. I used some scraps from my swirl papers to make up the difference on the Kiwi cardstock.
I cut out a saying from the Patchwork paper to be my title and also cut out some of the flowers from that same patterned paper, which I then stuck little mini sparkles in the center of (you know I gotta have my bling!). Little strips of flower patterned paper and some stickers from the $1 bin at Target completed this page. It took almost no time to do!

Meli, LOVE how this turned out! GREAT design! Love how you did your son on the pink paper, and your daughter on the blue! Great little turnabout on the whole boy/girl~blue/pink thing!
