When you first started scrapbooking Empty When you first started scrapbooking

Post by hippy_chick Fri Feb 06, 2009 1:40 pm

Well when i first started all i had was a few sheet's of paper & a couple of embellies, buddled into a square tuppaware box, then it became 2 tuppaware boxes, to a few & then i had to have a table & shelf's set up & has grown more ever since.

So if you are like me, Do you think you could ever go back to the beginning & survive with just a small box of goodies?

I would like to think that maybe one day i will, i dont think i have alot anyway, it's just the way i store it, but hay.....the big question is can you survive with a small box of goodies??

I started with a "book" of papers, some stickers & some stamps... made a whole album! LOL I have since graduated up to an entire room with all my stuff! However, with our move from the house to a small apartment, I now have just some closet space. Soooo... I "think" I could probably survive with a lot fewer supplies, since I'm scrapping that way now. I do love all my stuff too but the thing is I am in such a small apartment.....getting smaller and smaller each day....that most of it sits all packed up.

I also started out with a book of papers, a few basic tools and a glue stick! Someone, along the way, I ended up with cupboards FULL of papers and cardstock, stickers and diecuts that I don't even use anymore, and 3 rooms full of STUFF! I donate my totally useless stuff to the senior center or the elementary school but I still have way too much. Like many others, I am trying to use up with I have before I make any more purchases....but that's not exactly working perfectly! Oh yeah, and then I discovered rubber stamping and that was the end of that!
