PHOTOSHOP?!
does anyone have photoshop? i've had mine (ps7) for awhile now, but have yet to play with it. lol it looks so overwhelming. i really want to use it to enhance my photos and to make some fun graphics/brushes.
heck, i don't really know what "brushes" really are....just from what i've gathered from seeing other photoshop threads online. haha.

Re: PHOTOSHOP?!
I don't have the "real" Photoshop, but Photoshop Elements. That's quite enough for me!
I'm taking on online class in photo editing w/ Photoshop right now, but it's in Swedish. I'm sure if you Google it you could find online tutorials. Maybe even videos on YouTube!

I have several versions (my favorite is photoshop PRO)and even a tutorial for selective coloring with photoshop! I have and use elements some...just doesn't do things I NEED IT TOO! I don't do any of the brush thingies....but I imagine you could easily learn it once you master some of the simple editing!
LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE SPECIFIC QUESTIONS...MAYBE I CAN HELP! OOOPPP....didn't mean to yell! LOL

Re: PHOTOSHOP?!
I also use Photoshop Elements. I had PS 7.0 on my old PC and when I got my new Mac I switched to PSE 6.0 because (a) it was a lot cheaper, (b) did everything I needed from PS and (c) is a lot more user friendly. I am a big supporter of it.
Re: PHOTOSHOP?!
here is a great tutorial that introduces you to each part of ps. i like it better than just learning a technique and really not learning about the steps in between.

Re: PHOTOSHOP?!
I've been playing with my PS7 and it's SO cool! Here are a couple of quick things I did...
I wanted to blank out the background on this one (it was taken on my messy desk) and I figured it out all by myself!
BEFORE:
AFTER:
And this one I was just playing around to see if I could do it...
LOVING this program!!

Re: PHOTOSHOP?!
heyyyyyyy Robin...i need to learn how to do that one about taking out the background lol
Re: PHOTOSHOP?!
There are a couple of ways to do it......I like the clone tool(looks like a rubber stamp) the best.....choose a color you want the background....place your cursor over that color and press ALT to select that color....place cursor over area you wish to block and click...it will place the selected color in that spot....worse thing, it is a slow process and you must select the color over and over as the cursor moves with each click....try it and you will understand what I mean! BEST part of Photoshop is the step backward button.
