What the heck is with people? **Updated pg 2**

Last week I was on vacation. I should have never took it because now I just really don't want to be there. It's not the job or the things I have to do, it's the customers!! I've been back for 2 days now and both days I've had my head ripped off and handed to me. All for things out of my control. The one that really takes it though...
I did new years cakes. As I'm putting them out in the display this lady tells me how bad my cakes are. I tell her I'm sorry she doesn't like then, maybe I can do her a cake the way she wants it? Well, she just wants a birthday cake. So she picks one out and another lady came in to get a cake. While she is looking the first lady tells her how bad she thinks my cakes are. The lady actually picked out one of the new year cakes and the first lady tells her how bad of taste she has to pick out the ugliest cake in the world to serve to her family. The lady tells her that it's for her kids who love ice cream cake and she thinks the cake it cute. The first lady tells her she's a bad mother for getting that cake!

What is with people? I so wanted to tell that lady where she could stick my ugly cake! geez...

I really want to just stay home and hide from the world!

I would escorted her out of the store myself, had it been me she was talking to....I am not to good with people in my face.....lol and calling someone a bad mother???? Who died and made her God?
I am sorry you had to go thru that. I haven't seen your cakes but I am an sure they are just gorgeous and you know what, she is just a garbage truck, dumping her garbage on you, so just let it slide.
Kudos to not pounding her.....I probably would have told her off....lol

I would have told her, Sorry we are all SOLD out! LOL I am not good with anyone yelling at me!

In all honesty I am not really good with anyone! LOL... Dustanne I will ty and find the thread with her and Robin's cakes in them.

Yeah, lucky for her, I need my job! I'm telling ya, it's getting really hard. I know people are hurting for money and hate to pay extra for anything. I do okay when it's a DQ 'law' I have to deal with. But someones personal opinion... geez! Maybe someday I'll see her in a dark alley......

And the yelling lady, she has bigger problems and issues than that....you and your beautiful cakes where just right there when she needed to let some frustration go! So sorry for you to go through that!

Talk about bad mothers...I must be one, I couldn`t decorate a cake like you do, even if my life depended on it....but I still serve my children my cakes... I must be a really really bad mother!

Well, my boss called me first thing this morning. That 'wonderful' lady sent an e-mail to IDQ about me. She wrote that my cakes where horribly decorated. There were people lined up to get cakes we didn't have. We didn't have any cakes that she liked and our prices were to high.
When someone send an e-mail to IDQ, they forward it to my boss who in turn forwards it to me, which she hasn't done yet. She called the lady and talked to her. My boss said she wasn't very nice. The lady had told my boss that she took pictures of my cakes on her cell phone. My boss asked her to send them to her, which she did. My boss told me not to worry about it. The cake freezer was full and she (my boss) liked my cakes. My boss ended up sending her a coupon for a free cake decorated the way she'd like. So...now I get to deal with the devil AGAIN! Plus, I now have to try and bend over backwards to please her! My boss talked to her and I just can't believe she thinks I'll be able to make this lady happy at all!! Oh great joy!

Yeah, I'm guess that's what she wanted to. I hope she takes her free cake elsewhere to redeem it! It'll take all I have not to make her a 'special' cake....
