Use Your Stash Challenge Empty Use Your Stash Challenge

Post by Robin G Thu Oct 09, 2008 10:58 am

Hello Friends:) If you are like me, you LOVE to buy scrappy supplies (who wouldn't?), but periodically, you really do have to use what you have (we can't all be hoarder's,can we?). It makes for great scrappy-creativeness, AND helps justify all the new stuff we want to purchase right? Wink SO, in an effort to help your creative juices get flowing during those 'spending freeze' times, and the times you want to be 'out with the old', so you can stock up on the NEW, we have come up with the Use Your Stash Challenge, which will be posted weekly on Thursdays!
We would love for you to participate and post your creations in the thread for that week, which will be dated accordingly. I hope you have lots of fun with this, and I welcome all suggestions, so we can have fun with his together!
Happy Scrapping!
Robin G

Girls, I am the QUEEN of rationalization! So, here's my (usual) plan where 'spending' is concerned (for scrappy stuff). I make SURE my S.O. KNOWS I am using my stash...I mean I make a big deal of stuff I've made with what I have on hand (cuz know matter when you bought it, it's 'on hand', right? Smile) THEN, when I 'need' something new, or different. I can say, 'Well, I used most of my other supplies!", Or something of the same/similar nature...and as long as they have documented evidence of that (you showed them your stuff remember), they really can't argue....sneaky, I know (he he). But it works! And he always finds a way to justify stuff from Lowes and Home Depot (DIY stores, for those who don't know)...now doesn't he? Is this really any different? Smile
Plus, Jennifer has really cool stuff in her store, and we want to support her, now don't we? Angel

Oh but it was worth it in the end, spending over £100. in scrapping supplies, you could say it was 1 of my wedding gift's from my newly married husband, & i have'nt stopped spending since!!
