Nov 6 - Specialty Papers!

You know those specialty papers you have? The ones that when they came out, they were 'hot' and yet you never got 'round to using them all? WELL! Let's get them out and Make Stuff!
I'm talking about mulberry paper, printed vellum, cork paper, embossed leather paper, all those metallic papers, and the crimped or corrugated papers! You know what I mean? Got others too? Let's see what you can make with them!

I made 2 things, very simple. The first was a LO using a piece of printed vellum as the background. Short, and sweet:) "Majestic Mountain-Sunset" (not sure it shows up well in the picture, sorry!).

The other is a home decor item, to simply hang on the wall. 'Fall'. Took a piece of embossed leather paper, and added some cork paper, as 'ground', and using some die-cut leaves, and the tree, added the MR chipboard bird (covered in pp), and Alpha-stickers. Voila! A simple little piece to announce fall.

It's hard to tell in the picture but there is glitter all over this paper. It's from the S.E.I. Jolie Chocolat line. I hoard this stuff. LOL The sketch is Verve's Holiday Release Sketch Challenge #1.
