Im browsing & trying out the shop's look's, next thing i know i have $89.95 taken from my account & i have been trying all afternoon to get it back, it's taken me all afternoon just to find a help line, i.e email address or somekind of way out, kwim?
I have a headache & am stressed over it, they are ignoring me!!!!

Re: Yahoo has ripped me off!!
I phoned my bank straight away they said becoz the transaction was made online, they cant re-call the amount or do anything about it!!
I managed to find the "contact us" & sent a email, they want me to go to help msg board & submit my question there, & it was one of those no reply email's, so im back to square 1 becoz the help msg board was absalutly useless!!!
I dont know what to do now....?
Yahoo are *bleeeeeeep*

But you did not make a transaction!! did you enter your bank details!!? anyway they need kick up butt beause they have a duty under fraud to investigate it!!
Re: Yahoo has ripped me off!!
I don't understand how they got your info! Even when I "want to" purchase something.......it takes several clicks to "checkout"
Re: Yahoo has ripped me off!!
i've never bought off of yahoo but i hope you get things figured out soon.

Normally it is a great place to shop as things are more reasonable compared to ebay! I sold on Yahoo and on ebay several years ago!

Yes i went through all that i did click, & paid with paypal. but i did'nt realise they were going to take the money STRAIGHT away, i thought i would'nt be charged until i have the shop set up & was open, as it seems i cant do anything with it, i cant even acces the start page & i have a right to cancel in 3 days.
What i am mad about is there is no where to cancel no option's & no help, quick enough to take my money though.
Just sent another email as it's the only form of communication to them that i have.
Re: Yahoo has ripped me off!!
Im so thick at times & this is my own fault, i thought it was going to be another ebay type thing but its not i have to have licences & id number's etc, which i obviously dont have!
Im trying to right it in the 3 days i have & they are so hard to deal with, i cant get hold of nobody & nobody is listoning!!

Re: Yahoo has ripped me off!!
I'm sorry Sarah! That's the bad thing about the internet. Really easy to get riped off! I don't understand why your card company can't help you. I did something like this once and I filled out a form, had to send a letter to the company who charged me, which the bank helped me write and in a few days I had my money back plus they stopped that company from trying to recharge me. How about calling the Better Business Bureau?

When I had a shop on there is was free to list everything...no fees unless you sold something! It has been about 3 years ago.....WOW not a good thing at all!
Re: Yahoo has ripped me off!!
