Scrappy Question for today!

Do you go to crops often? I was invited to attend one today and if I went....it would be over $100 in gas just to drive there and back! I have NEVER attended a crop! My DH works odd hours and I don't have anyone who can babysit close by!

I have never "attended" a real crop, only online ones, scrapbooking is'nt very popular where i live.

Online is all I have done too!

I have been to some before. I LOVE going! I haven't gone to one in awhile because there hasn't been any. I love online crops though

I have been to many many crops, I have aprticipated in online ones too but you do not get the full experience. Still totally fun though. We should organize one on here. Which would be better weekends or weekdays, nights or days? Let me know I can get working on one!

Over a week-end would be good for me, when my baby is'nt ill, lol, i have'nt made a single card today & im not sure how much more of her winging i can take, patience is running thin now & she does'nt want to go to bed, im here typing with one hand, lol.

I can't honestly say I've been to a crop, now that I think about it. I have been to a few classes. Never done an online crop. Would like too, do both!

Weekdays are best for me as DH isn't home and kids are at school!

I can be here on a weekday too, it depends on the evening's, my evening's are taken up from 2:30 in the afternoon, til about 8-9pm at night, becoz i do the school run & i work 2 hrs an evening.

I have been to a few but prefer the online crops because I like to have all my supplies with me!

I think that's what I would like about an online crop Megan, is that all my 'stuff' is with me! I would miss too much of it if I were away!

I've done both -- I've done short day ones and entire weekend ones -- they are a wonderful way to get together with people and get a lot done.

i used to go to them all the time.. but i really hate packing and unpacking... that is
time i could be scrappin in my room.. i prefer the online crops

i have been to a few crops...fun to converse with other scrappers but i NEVER get anything accomplished but making friends and buying things.

I agree with the online ones because all my supplies are at hand...BUT...somehow when you are at home there is always something else that needs to be done. When you go away to a crop you are all there for the same thing. I go to scrap weekends away a couple times a year but I have to be very organized so I know what I need to take.
I'm going to one the weekend after the Canadian thanksgiving actually.

I've never been to one either - but I like the idea of the weekenders etc. Have never been to a cyber crop either - so you guys will have to educate me!!

I have never been to a live crop. There has never been one close enough for me to go. AND I think I would have such a hard time choosing what to bring! I like to have all my stuff around me when scrapbooking. I do love cybercrops though!!

When I used to be the Event Coordinator at a local Michael's, I used to staff the one they had monthly... it was fun, when people actually showed up.

I have also done a couple of weekend crop retreats when we lived in New England and I worked for a LSS. Those were SO much fun! A whole weekend of scrapping & eating!

Lately, I haven't done much for cropping away from home. I do really enjoy on-line crops, and participate when I can!
