Re: scrap space pics?
Beverly, love your space too! Love to see how everyone organizes:) I know I have some pics somewhere....underneath all this mess...
Re: scrap space pics?
LOL! Thanks Robin - I have another 5' table in the lounge so I can scrap in the heart of my family ... but I have to keep running upstairs to get stuff, so I mostly work in my space.
Re: scrap space pics?
WOW -- fabulous scrap spaces.
If I ever CLEAN up my room, I will take some pictures.
Right now it's a DISASTER! LOL

Re: scrap space pics?
I'm green with envy over here! I just have this little corner in the living room, but since I'm going back to school I had to re-do my area so I actually have room to study.. I have a lo in my book of me, I'll see if I can find it somewhere...

Re: scrap space pics?
This first one is a lo I did when I first got my desk. I use to sit on the floor and worked off a piece of wood that I would slide under the couch!
This is a lo I did maybe a year ago.

Re: scrap space pics?
I started off scrapping on the bed ... I forgot how awful that was until a couple weeks back when I had a deadline & no space on my desk - nightmare! Love your li'l desk duskie ... Will see if I can find the pics of my scrap space LO
Re: scrap space pics?
love seeing all the rooms and no matter what size...it's that you have a space...somewhere that you can create!
oh my, talking about when everyone started scrapping brought back memories. i had this box that was a scrap kit and it fit great on my lap and it was a sturdy box. i used that to store my supplies for the first year or so, but i would sit on the floor or my bed and scrap off of that box. when i got a desk it was hard to transition...but now, i don't think i could sit like that again. ha.

Re: scrap space pics?
Ok, here it is. BEFORE I got in there and got it all good and messy! LOL. Which is the state it's usually in. My husband built all the wood colored stuff, and then added the pre-made closet/bookcase shelving, which he got from the DIY store here. My desk is like one from Pottery Barn, but they wanted over 1000 bucks for theirs. My husband did this one and I like it better actually, for about 100 bucks. TFL!
Re: scrap space pics?
lol, you should see it right now, I really feel like I"m cheating! It's a MESS! Paper, paper everywhere, and not a space in sight!
Re: scrap space pics?
LOL! Great space Robin ... I cheated too - I'm currently working in a 12" square in the middle of a completely piled up table ... & that is in our family room cuz I can't find a square foot in my scrap room. D'ya think it could be time to tidy up??
Re: scrap space pics?
I plan to get mine all organized and straight and take new photos...Love your space Robin!
Re: scrap space pics?

Re: scrap space pics?
Thanks ladies:) I love everyone's spaces! It's great to see where we all create! Great idea:) I should take a messy shot, and show you the truth, LOL!
Re: scrap space pics?
Amy, my husband saw 'that' table in a Pottery Barn magazine, and mind you, I LOVE their stuff. But it's WAY out of my price range. SO, being the super-intelligent dude that he is:) He bought two bookshelves, and some thick precut wood slabs (they were already sanded and I forget the size, but I could measure and tell you if you want to know!). Then, he bought trim to go around the edge. He set up the shelves, and glued the wood slabs together, to make the top...attached the edging...and attached the table top to the shelves. It's all attached, but can come apart easily if we needed to move it, or just wanted it apart. It was super easy (hehe, esp for me!) and super inexpensive, compared to the PB table. They wanted WAY more for it than what he paid, even if you include his time to make it.
He did buy the baskets separate, and I came home to this fabulous room, all made just for me:)
I think I'll keep him

That's a bit drastic dontcha think? No need to go overboard!
& yes, you definitely should keep that man of yours - you make a cute couple!! Mine isn't at all practical like that - good at heavy labour but not good at building stuff!
Re: scrap space pics?
Ok, if you insist, I'll keep my messy room to myself, lol. DH went in there last night, looking for something, and commented (jokingly of course) about how one could get lost in there for days, no one would ever know. He said, 'is there a desk in here?'. I thought I put on there. hehe. smartypants.
Beverly your man must be pretty tough to do all that heavy labour!

Re: scrap space pics?
Hmmmm - not tough as such - he's one of those girly 'thinking' types - but he's pretty good at chopping down trees, digging the garden & lifting stuff so I don't have to! LOL
Re: scrap space pics?
My DH is not a Girly thinking type...pure man....MAKES everything twice harder than it should be and goes the long way around to accomplish things......GOD Love him!
