SHIPWRECK DINNER! Yum
Some call it 7 layer dinner.

I put onions, potatoes, carrots, turnip, rice, tomato soup and porkchops in my Shipwreck Dinner.

What's for Supper Empty Re: What's for Supper

Post by beverley UK Wed Oct 15, 2008 8:06 am

my older kids have done most of the cooking this week - I'm still not right. Made a spaghetti & meatballs dish on monday - it was truly awful - so they are doing it until I get my meds.
It doesn't help that Me & DS4 are veggie - so I have to cook 2 versions. So this week we are keeping it easy. I'm very lucky really - DS1 (age 22) lives at home & is very good at helping me out - he's not working right now, so he gets the 'looking after mum' job.
Shipwreck sounds great - will deffo have to try that!

Yeah! mine used to be little (I have just one li'l one, aged 4 now). You have to be patient until one day, as if by magic, they are old enough to help - see, dreams do come true! lol!
