So I send Taylor out ot get some meat for dinner. Out to the deep freeze. "Hey, mom all the meat is not frozen!" "What?" Well, yah so I guess my psychotic feline Marsha unplugged the deep freeze somehow sometime today! Luckily most is still frozen. All we are cooking up tonight is a bog of chicken pieces, a package of Jumbo Hot Dogs and a bag of fish. Arrgghhh....like we really need that much for supper. Who needs side dishes? :suspect: Note to self always check the deep freeze!

oh nooooooooooo! that totally just happened to my inlaws this summer. somehow their large freezer in their garage got unplugged and EVERYTHING unthawed. at first they thought it just died on them but later realized it was just unplugged.

at any rate...they had a huge...last minute....cookout!!! affraid

glad you didn't have too much to fix up quick! unusual meal indeed! Wink

so sorry to hear this...most insurance policies don't cover deep freezers either!

Oh no!!I can relate. The other day I came home to DH soldering the computer cord back together, go figure. One of the puppies had chewed through it. Darn doggies, lol. Thankfully, she's ok. I didn't have lots of thawed meat to worry bout though! Hope it all came out ok!!

Something happened with my electicity once & had to be off for a while, i had just been shopping & restocked everything, was not happy!! i got on the phone to them & asked them if they was going to replace everything in my fridge & freezer, they said no as long as i keep the doors closed it will be ok for 24hrs!!!

Lucky for them it was!!
