Have you ever submitted you work to be published? Why or why not?

I've submitted a ton Memory Makers, CK, Simple Scrapbooks and Scrapbooks Etc. I've had three layouts picked up by Memory Makers and a mini-album picked up by Simple Scrapbooks. I love submitting because the feeling I get when a layout gets chosen is thrilling. Plus, if you don't submit, you'll never get chosen.

A ton....mostly to online Ezines and had over 100 picked up thru the last 5-6 years! I will not sub to a regular mag as too many friends have lost their layouts when a mag goes belly up unexpectedly! It scares me! lol

No and the reason why is because I don't even know where to begin. That and I'm lazy. LOL

Never for publication, only for challenges and DT app's (and only a few at that). I lacked confidence I think...but also, like Christi says, I don't know where to begin. (and I worry like Holly pointed out that I wouldn't get my art back!).

Alot of magazines now you can submit the pics by email.....for those who want to sub and don't know where t start,wwatch the DT and magazine call thread! I have submitted a couple times but never got anywhere.....I did receive a postion on the House Mouse Challenge blog tho as a design team member. I remember being ecstatic. I will not be applyng for any more DT postitions as I have to get mine i order :pale:

i can count on my two hands the times i've submitted something....ANYTHING. lol i'm sure if i put myself out there more i would get SOMETHING published. lol

i have a bit of a desire more these last few months then i ever have to get something published. i would love to see my kiddos faces in print.
