Does the rain affect your mood?

Today is so rainy! And I hate it! I always feel so down when it rains.....anyone else?

Yep esp when it just pours for days.

I was thinking about that today....wellies...I love it.....my moms b/f is from england and I love lstening to it!

The kids were playing up one day, you know when they have so much energy & want to go out but cant, in the end we went out for a walk....in the rain....& we all came back soaking wet.

It was a cold day but we wernt cold becoz it was just like a water fight only with water that came from above, was really fun!!

I hate when it rains, unless it's late at night, and then it just helps me sleep! The rain also effects how much my body hurts!
I'm thinking we have seen the last of rain for awhile around here though! The only that's going to be falling is snow!!

I ride the fence on this one....I am not a fan of gloomy, rainy days....but if I am in the right mood....I get tons of odd household jobs don on rainy days! Yesterday I cleared out everything in DH's and my closet and sorted and starting washing it all! Been over three years since I did this and feels good to get that closet cleared and re-organized! I have a load in the dryer now and it is 5:30 a.m.

oh my....hubby said we can get a closet organizing sysytem if i go through ours (as i've complined for awhile now, lol). i just told him the other day that i have that on my plans for this month. lol too funny you mentioned this, Holly.

as far as rain goes...it's raining a bit here now...i can go either way. if i don't have plans, i can relax on days like this. if i DO have plans it tends to bother me. not so much the actual getting wet but just with being achy and the sky so gloomy...does mess with my mood some. :suspect:

Amy I bet I have thrown away three black garbage bags full already!!! AND I am getting some really kewl buttons for my stash! LOL

Yes, I think it is more a achy day that bugs me more.....

Normally, I LOVE rain!
Love to use it as a good excuse, to just hang at home if I can. And spend time in the scrap room...and still do nothing really.
The last time it downpoured here though, was JUST after the puppies came to our house. And they would NOT go out in the rain...unless I walked all the way into the yard with them and stood there with them...in a solid downpour, for like 3 days straight...
I was glad when it stopped that time.
Otherwise, I do love it.

My dog never goes out in the rain....he will hold his.....for like 3 days!

oh JEEZ!! that has to hurt, ya know? Well, since they are puppies, I was afraid that wouldn't have any problem holding it...cuz well, lol, they just wouldnt, lol! I figured they would just go inside!
(and they did on occasion, arghhhhh!). But now, they are good! None of 'em likes it when it's raining though, they all RUN to the door, so excited to go out, and then SLAM on the brakes when they see it's wet outside, lol, it's too funny!
