So sad Empty So sad

Post by Duskie Sun Nov 09, 2008 4:34 pm

I think we are going to have to borrow the money from my parents to have Shadow put down. My neighbor said he would do it, but I just can't think of him being shot in the head!

He was doing well, but now he's cheeks are all swollen and he can't eat or drink. The vet, whom I love, says that even if we make him better with this, something else will happen to him and it'll just keep going until he dies. I fell just awful! Sad

my heart aches for you. i have my doby girl (doberman) who isn't doing so well these days...she has a mass on her ribcage and really at her age (12) she is too old to do much with so we just hope she doesn't end up in pain and we are torn with this same situation. Sad

Took him to the vet, turns out, he had been bit by something, more then likely a mouse. She is keeping him overnight. If he starts to do better, we'll bring him home in a few days, if not, she will put him to sleep.

We are keeping our fingers crossed!
