Shadow is home!!!

Shadow is home, but its not all good. He has a big whole in his throat under his chin. BUT he's doing well. He's eatting and drinking and was playing with the vet. She didn't see any reason to put him down yet. She let us take him home. She did warn us though that he his dying. There is nothing more she can do, but he could live 6 more months! I really don't see how with that big hole, but I'm happy to have him back!

He's sitting here with me. He follows me everywhere I go. I think he missed me! The vet bill isn't as bad as I though it would be. 575.00 for everything. If we want him put down she'll do it and not charge us more. I hope he makes it till after christmas atleast! They all have their own stocking that get full of toys and treats.

Yeah my fur babies get stockings too, 1 year my friend came in a saw all the 7 stockings & asked wt...? When i said 2 was fot the cats, she thought i was crazy, lol.

no, there is no way to sew it up. I'd take a picture and post it, but it's really gross. I guess it's not uncommon for cat with cancer to have their skin decay. You can see his tongue and teeth.
I don't understand how he'ls alive with it, but the skin around it is still heathly. There is no chance for the skin to go back.

WOW.....and the VET is sure he wasn't bitten???? It's cancer....WOW!!!!
