My baby girl Empty My baby girl

Post by Duskie Thu Dec 11, 2008 10:05 pm

Well, I was good at the school. There were 12 people there plus me. It's not good. She has 2 major learning disabilities and 2 minor. She is going to have to go spend a few days at a hospital in a town almost 3 hours away. They will hook her up to a machine and figure out what parts of her brain work and which don't.
They said that when information enters her brain it's gets spread out and even deleted. So when she tries to remember something it's either not there, or only there in pieces. Her short term memory only works half the time, and when it does, things get so scrambled it's pretty much worthless.
It's going to be a long hard road.

OOOhhh....I hear the long hard road...I was in a different stage in my life when I got pregnant with Trevor...we think his dad did drugs and Trevor has some learning disabilities....It is hard...Or when they blame it on behavious....as for the short term memory I think when they hit grade six it happens anyhow. Please let us know if we can help....even support..

Thank you Jennifer! So sorry to not be around so often, the StampARTic thing, is growing bigger than I ever thought, and I`ve been spending most of my computer time working on that....

but I love stopping by, and catching up whenever I can!
