My challenge this week is to use felt on your layout in some way. But, try not to use pre-made felt embellishments - make one yourself! I made the cupcake in my sample layout.

I wonder if felt cuts allright with dies in the original sizzix or cuttlebug.....

I love felt but only the premade stuff, (coz im not very good at cuttibg it) but i do find it expensive.

The stuff that you cut yourself is not the $$$$ I get mine from the $$ store and you get like 5 for a $.

CUTS awesome in the original Sizzix...I keep mine specifically for certain things and that is one of them!!!!! BE sure to press it several times to break the felt fibers!

Awwwwww, I love Chase's birthday layout! That cupcake is totally cute and almost good enough to get me drooling! I used to cut and stitch felt embellishments back when it wasn't even cool! Now you see felt everywhere! I have a bunch of them somewhere, now I just need to use them on a layout or two. I made them for embellishment swaps, way back when. Felt is great, no unraveling..and it's very forgiving to sew.
