Gimme a new hard drive, please!!!!

With LOADS more disk space!!!!

Any1 know how much these are?

I have a problem with my hard drive, i have programme's & thing's i need in computer to run this & that & thats littery all it can handle, ive backed up photo's & deleted half of photobucket, & my blog, but the more i get rid of to try & free up space, the more it clog's up!!

Ive done disk clean's & defrag etc, but like i said the more i try, the more it's worse!!!

I hate this thing, seriously, i cant even upload 1 photo, thats not good when you need to post becoz of dt & blog etc

Get all the music and photos off and onto an external.....then run your cleaning programs....should help...also make sure your virus protection is updated.....a tiny virus can suck you disc space too! HTH...hope you get it all cleaned and organized soon!

Yep ive done that, ive had no photo's or music in my computer for the last month!! Becoz i been trying to solve this problem.

<- i love that smillie, coz i got a question, probally a blonde one but hey......When you upload to photo bucket, & those picture's, does it take up sapce in your computer? & the blog too, becoz i been deleting alot of stuff from those site's too?

If they are only hosted on photobucket and the originals are off your Hard drive...then nope they don't take space...however Photobucket takes a ton of space to work(open)....it will use your Cache to open all those photos each time you access it...so cleaning photobucket is a great idea also if you access it often! make sense?

Yes i do, i use photobucket to host photo's on my blog & the board's.

The laptop I just got wouldn't boot up at all.....everything was taken off of it and only installed the OS (Windows) and the vital programs and it is working like a charm...the Hard drive was in OVER load...maybe getting everything cleaned and then running your scan and defrag...you will feel like you have a whole new computer! Thats my problem, i have scanned & defragged & disk clean, & i do only have the vital progammes in here.

I dont get it becoz, when i first had this thing, i had load's more in it than i do now, i had tons of files with loads of photo's & music & more programmes, i have deleted a hell of alot but yet im still getting this problem.

This is why i think i will give up & just get a new one!!!

IF you have any Newer programs on it, that you didn't have from the start.....they are taking more and more space just to load and run so you may have something in there that is taking a lot more than it can!!! KWIM???? Go ahead...buy a new MAC!!!!!

I have heard that ppl have problem's with them, with mac compatible etc?

Mac Computer will run windows also...but PC's will not run a mac program! But they are maintenance free...the one I am on this moment is over ten years old and is still like new!!!!! Might be hard for you to get one there and they are a lot higher than a Windows operated PC Hope you can get a new machine soon!

Sarah, I'm assuming you did, but make sure your run a spyware program also. If your computer is step up like mine, your music is probably still on your computer. Go to your start menu, click on the search button. When that opens, click on search for music, photos. This will bring them all up and then you can delete them. For some reason, my computer puts music and pictures EVERYWHERE!!!

Dawn, i have done the spyware thing, but yes did the search for music & a load of the s**t came up, i have now deleted that!!!

lol... now you need to empty your trash can and redo your defrag! Hopefully that'll help!

My fil got vista & he got problem's gallore, im a bit scrred of vista.....?

I`m vista,but tower is xp and does take some gettin used to but had no issues with vista,you can put it into xp layout mode anyway
to me vista is only a glorified front page

have u a cd rom drive on it!? its not making any strange clicks or clunks is it! seems odd that it was okay and now is not are u upto date with your windows updates!? you could have a virus or hack on it and this will slow it down dramtically worth running your antivirus stuff again. I`m looking for a disc but cannot lay my hands on it at moment argh to see if it will copy at all

Yes i have a cd rom, but no strange click's etc, i have nod32 antivirus system.

have nod32 antivirus system oh now that would not take to much space up probably around 11/12mb, thought if u said norton or something that takes alot up
