Feb 12 - Pink, Red, White, & Black
Ok everyone, first of all...for ONCE this comes early, rather than late! I have a long day tomorrow, and figured I better get this out early, in case you come a lookin' for it
So, since we have Valentine's Day upon us this weekend (yikes, better get me butt in gear!), I thought we should use some color scraps! I used some Luxe Designs papers (mostly), and my (new favorite) American Crafts Cardstock card-bases (this one is the matchbox style), in white. Grabbed some rubs (Luxe), my Sharpie pens, a pair of decorative-edged scissors, some glue dots, and of course, thickers, lol. How did any of us scrap before thickers? LOL! And out came this cute (or I think so anyway) card for my dear friend Amy (from work) who has had a hard time of it lately. I thought she could do with knowing that her friends love her:)
So while I should have been doing something romantic for my HHD {Handsome Husband Dave}, I was doing a good-friend deed......and I'm glad I did:) (that means thursday night will be scramble to make Dave's gift & card, but then I usually do work well under pressure, lol)!
Can't wait to see what you came up with, don't forget to post it here, or leave us a link, so we can marvel at your creations! TFL!

Hiya Sarah! I am home now, which starting now, counts as a day off (before I go in tomorrow night, for my night/weekend routine!). I plan on scrapping some tonight, and tomorrow!
HOLLY, WOWZERS!! They are FAB-U-LOUS!!!! LOVE them both!!!
Did you cut the flourishy-hearts on the card from paper, or is that a die-cut, do tell!
My flower, is actually the flowery-side of a LUXE paper (Trinket). They are flat of course, so it takes three...I cut out the top two layers, and pop them up on the bottom layer. (I did this once before, and added stickles on the edges, looks fab too...-it's in the gallery here I think, and I know it's on my blog slideshow http://ohscrapblog.blogspot.com/
I just inked the edges this time, and curled the edges with a pencil and they really pop off the page that way. (Or card in this case!).
TFL!!
