Stamped images....
Do you color in your stamped images?
And if you do, what is your favorite coloring technique?
In Norway most of the card makers color their images.
I`ve been through a lot of techniques:
Twinkling H2O
Painting with distress ink
Prismacolor pencils and MCP technique
But my ultimate favorite is;
Promarkers combined with prismacolor pencils and MCP.
I color the image with promarkers and then I put shadows on with MCP...
I know many is loving copic markers, I`ve never tried them...are afraid too...maybe another addiction waiting to happen....

Re: Stamped images....
I use promarkers mostly, without MCP;-) I add shadows with more colour after the image dries a bit.

Re: Stamped images....
It depends on the image, but usually, yes, I color them in. I use a combination of water color pencils, markers, gel pens... whatever gives me the look I'm going for at the time.
Re: Stamped images....
I use stazon ink and my SU markers or crayons or gel pens or prismacolor pencils.

Re: Stamped images....
I use mostly SU markers & inktense pencils - like the sound of Copics but don't have them.
Re: Stamped images....
Ok so what are promarkers and am I going to like them? I color almost all my images in. I use Copics, Bic mark its and Sharpies. I have Prismacolor pencils but hardly use them and I also have watercolors...but hardly use them either!

if you search the web i think you get some hits, I have hard trouble to translate to english sometimes hehe. But I looove them anyway, but what I understand so is Copics pretty good too, hehe and more colors? in promarkers there are 92 colors, i believe. You can also check the gallery here, I have colored my stamp images on my cards with promarkers.

Re: Stamped images....
I use Le plume pens, and water color pencils and paints....but I usually only color in when using a stamped image on a card!

You are going to love them!!!
Combined with prismacolors pencils...it works like a charm!!!
But remember to have a cardstcok without any "pattern" in it, like aquarell paper is to rough, you need somthing completly smooth, to get a good result!
Re: Stamped images....
My favorite technique right now is using re-inkers and a waterbrush and watercoloring. I also grab my Copics constantly and also have Prismacolors and SU markers.

Re: Stamped images....
Can you believe that I have no SU markers.....I here the Tombow ones are pretty good too!
Re: Stamped images....
I have some tombow - work fine but the colours are a bit vivid for me - the SU! & Le Plume ones I have are more muted - prefer the SU! ones tho'
Re: Stamped images....
Being a SU demo I kind of need to have their markers. LOL I do love how everything matches.

Re: Stamped images....
I like that about Su too! I just don't have the funds and when I do it seems to get spent really fast!
Re: Stamped images....
I started to get SU markers several times and never did!!!!! I was a partner with a demo and I got the demo discount.....and never bought them...DUH!
Re: Stamped images....
LOL! I am actually starting my first marker club the first of November. All the girls are really excited to be getting the entire set and not having to put out so much money all at once.
