Stamping with wax Empty Stamping with wax

Have you ever tried this technique? I have all the supplies, but haven't ever actually sat down and done it! Embarassed Maybe today! I have to get a challenge worked up today so I think I should try it! Very Happy

I have never done this although i want to try, i was going to do this with sealing my wedding invitation's, but i could'nt find the right wedding stamp

I have never even heard of this techinique! I will defiantely be looking inot it. I have heard of stamping onto wax though.

I suppose it's a bit like the old fashion way of sealing evelope's, 7gys sells the wax you can melt & the stamp's, they are metal.

you melt the wax onto the reverse side of your cutting mat or something hard, then while the wax is still hot you push in the stamp, it dries like it & there you have your own embellishment.

Im yet to try it, but ive seen the technique done in a uk magazine.

I don`t have it, but I`ve seen it on many cards, and it`s a great and elegant detail to add to the project!
I think I might need to get me one of those....!
