It's Monday... :(

My parents should have just named me Garfield. I hate Mondays! Everything seems to go wrong for me on this day. Today is no different. We have these hugh wolf spiders in our house. They started to cut down the cornfield across from our house this weekend. I knew they were coming. I am so scared of these things, I usually run the other way. They are always in the basement and never seem to come upstairs.... till this morning. I'm taking a shower, which I usually do at night, but didn't for some reason. All is going well until I open the curtain to get a towel. On the floor is a big HUGH black wolf spider. I scream. I'm trapped!! These things are known to jump, and they are NOT afraid of people!! I'm hoping my DF will hear me and wake up and come save me. NOPE!!! After yelling for what seems like hours, I'm now in tears! This spider is just eyeing me down, daring me to try to kill it. NO WAY!!! So here I am, naked, wet, and crying, needing to get my butt out of there and head out the door! So I decided to jump over it and run out of there. I jumped, slide on the floor with my wet feet and down I go! My hand lands inches away from this thing. I jump up and about broke the door trying to get out. Still naked, I get out the door and there stands my daughter and one of her friends.
Can I go back to bed now?

oh hope you did not hurt your hinny to much! see spiders do not bother me,but my DS has started havin blib outs over them for some reason and fly[dont laugh it still hurts]

seriously though, i feel for you and your fear of spiders. i'm not afraid of spiders but i respect people's fears. i think i would be spraying my house like mad if i knew they would be coming. lol i'm surpised there isn't some type of 'home remedy' that rids your house of spiders?!?

hope your day is much better and you are without any owies from your slip this morning.

We have Brown Recluse spiders here and they are horrible....Everyone treats their home because they are so poisonous!

Oh too funny! Well funny now I guess. They sound ugly and gross. YUK!!

Awwwww - poor garfield! I did laugh tho'. I hate spiders & would have been exactly the same!! Hope your day gets much, much better!

Seriously, I totally understand where you're coming from, I hate spiders too!! I think you were very brave who jumped over the spider, I don't know if I could have done that!

Oh Dawn, I feel for you! We have those nasty things here too, and hey are aweful!! I HATE spiders! Glad you didn't hurt yourself when you slipped!!
