What is the most emotional topic you have ever scrapped?
I scrapped a page about a friend of mine who passed away in a car accident the summer after I graduated from college. He was on a little road in the Kentucky country side and was with his girlfriend. He had just been fitted for a tux for a friend's upcoming wedding. He came around a blind curve (at speed limit) and there was a slow tractor driving on his side of the road. He swirved to miss it and went off the road and hit a tree. He died immediately, but his girlfriend lived after being in a coma for two weeks. He was 22 years old. I didn't scrap it until about 3 years later and it was really tough. Here it is...

HOW SAD for you!
I scrapped my Granny's desire to "go HOME" Was very sad and upset me terribly as she would talk about it daily!

Megan, that is a very touching layout. I'm so sorry for your friend. I too had a similar situation just after graduation where (one of) my best friends boyfriend was hurrying home to be with her on his birthday as she was making him dinner...he took a wet curve a bit too fast and hit a tree. I should scrap that even though I don't talk to that friend much anymore.
Holly, my grandmother is 85 and she has been talking about "going home" as well. it's painful but at this time in her life...she feels she has nothing else to do. she isn't able to do many things and gets so bored and down.

I have not don't any emotional layouts yet.....I know there will be some to come as My son's father passed away 2 weeks before his birthday. I have just been avoiding doing it. It has been 7 years but it still hurts.
Re: SQOTD 10/16/08
I scrapped about the night my dad died in a vehicle accident. Lot of journalling on it.
It was 10 years ago today actually that he died.

I'm glad everyone has shared these. I find it's extremely therapeutic to scrap these hard things. It helps to bring closure.
