Chipboard Alphas
Do you alter them or use them the way they come? I almost always alter them in some form! (except thickers-I leave them alone) Love to stamp on the others!
Re: Chipboard Alphas
I mostly alter them, im doing a project right now & i have used thicker's i have inked them in 3 ways & used 3-d glue, i love altering them, lol.
Re: Chipboard Alphas
I haven't used much lately....I mainly use ones that are already finished...maybe I am a lazy scrapper.
Re: Chipboard Alphas
I love chipboard, thats another thing i collect & dont use much of, becoz i love it.
Re: Chipboard Alphas
LOVE me some chipboard!!! I tend to do what Megan does. If they are finished, I mostly leave them alone...maybe distress them a bit. But if they are unfinished...I tend to paint, ink, or cover them with pp is my other favorite thing to do with them!!
Re: Chipboard Alphas
I have a tutorial somewhere in my stash of altering RAW chipboard.....not anything difficult....but is a Kewl result!
Re: Chipboard Alphas
I don't really have much alpha chipboard... mostly just a few flourishes (Thanks, Robin G! ) The few I do have, already coordinate with a paper line. As for other "raw" chipboard... I almost always do SOMETHING to it... paint it, cover it with pp or cardstock, ink it, etc.
There is a great article in an older issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine about altering raw chipboard. You can download it free from here... http://www.scrapbookandcards.com/magazineSumr06.html
Psst... while you are there, check out the "Creating A Keepsake" article & let me know if anything is familar! :face:
