So you's all know now i am looking for a new camera, im not really sure which one to buy although i have taken a fancy to the nikon p80.

What camera do you have or what would you recommend or would love to have yourself?

Im looking for one of those with a re-chargable battery & a large optical zoom & large lens, that possibly comes with photo editing software, although i already have 3 type's, it might not be compatible, kwim?

Please help me, im not that technique-al, lol. <--see what i mean i cant even spell the word, lol!!

I have the Olympus Evolt 500......It is fabulous!!!! I study for over a month on what camera would suit my needs and this was it! I love the feature for speed shutter...I can take a shot every 2-3 seconds...and with kids that is wonderful!

I order the next length lense (and cases for both), an extra battery, and the tripod. I truly LOVE it and wouldn't trade it for anything else!

BE sure to check indepth on all the options you are looking for and compare them to the different brands...a camera is a HUGE investment!
Here is a similar camera and this is also who I got mine from!

my father has an olympus and it's always been a faithful camera.

i am looking AT investing in a Nikon D60 or a Canon Rebel Xsi but this won't happen until next year.

i have always used Kodak and faithfully i have climbed up the camera ladder and my currant Kodak has done well but i want more.

The Rebel was one I checked into and it didn't have all the features I wanted for the increase in the cost! Kodak is always hard to beat! Smile

Now im even more confussed!!

But i hear ya all & will take all the advice into consideration.

I have a kodak for the now & have had an olympus in the past, it was a good camera!!

Even though it was my fault...no batteries, it's really put me off using my kodak now & i really hate it, just want to throw it away!!

I wont, maybe i can trade it in at a camera shop i know of...? & make the other camera a bit cheaper...??
There is nothing wrong with it what so ever!!
