Here's why...

Ok, after having stayed home for two weeks feeling like total crap, with major anxiety attacks, I finally had my appt with my doctor today! I almost didn't make it there, I just about broke down in the waiting room... Started bawling the minute I stepped inside her office and couldn't speak for several minutes. Anyway, I have a wonderful doctor and she immediately sent a message to a therapist that I need some counseling. She also prescribed me a small package of sleeping pills, so that I don't have to lay awake half the night in anxiety. She also wanted me to stay home for another two weeks. I obviously have some stuff to deal with and it's totally draining me of my energy!

Just wanted to give you a headsup on what's going on and why I'm not as active on the board as I have been.

on a small level i can relate. i have some anxiety issues that up until a year ago i denied. i've been on a few sample medications but haven't commited to anything yet. mine are stress related...i get it from my father who's delt with anxiety/stress his whole life. i can't imagine going through what you are...i hope for you to get things under control. {HUGE hugs!}

{{{HUGS}}} Helen! I know this has to be hard. I'm glad you have a very understanding Doctor! I hope you can get some relief with the counseling, and some rest!! Sounds like you need a big break! I hope your time at home can be a good break for you! We are thinking of you!
