Christmas/Holiday shopping??? Empty Christmas/Holiday shopping???

Post by wilgeshouse Sat Oct 11, 2008 6:43 pm

i've started 'collecting' a few things for the kiddos but that is about it. i do, however, have a good list going of what i actually need to buy...which is a BIG difference from years past. lol i don't mind shopping, just don't like wondering around with no ideas....drives me crazy and makes me end up buying things i truly didn't want to.

how about you?

A big book called "the make up Bible", by Vendela Kirsebom....

Now I think she is veryyyy blond, but my 15 year old niece thinks she is just full of wisdom!!! Rolling Eyes lol!

Since having kaci im finding it so much more easy to buy for a girl. & with her being the youngest she does get more, but not too much more, kwim?

I've gotten a few stocking stuffers that's all. I find it so easy to fill DD's stocking but the boys I find harder.

WOW -- haven't even thought about Christmas....

I have my son's birthday in a couple of weeks and that's as far as I've gotten with gifts.

I have a few gifts hidden in my closet so far! Laughing I usually pick up a few things here and there, whenever I find something I know the kids would love, or when it's a good bargain. That way our expenses are more spread out. I have somewhat of an idea what to get everyone for Christmas, but the majority of shopping will have to wait until late November I think.

I'll start shopping in a few weeks. I never start really early but I'm definitely not a last minute shopper either.

I'm taking Kolette Hall's 'Giving Well 08' class at BPS - thought I'd get a ton of ideas from that. Gotta say I'm not overly impressed with it tho' Thought about cancelling but for the $25 admin fee, I'd only get $10 back (which is a li'l bit under £5) - not really worth it. So I guess I might as well stay with it now.
Have started collecting alterable bits for gifts tho.
