This technique is simple to do but sometimes hard to execute in the right way. White space is any negative (element free) space on a layout that adds to the overall design.

Robin - awesome layouts! You definitely have the white space thing down pat! And to answer your questions - yes, those two first layouts happen to be from my own wedding. We got married in October, so the wedding was fall-themed. To tie the whole wedding album together, every page used the dark brown Bazzill cardstock as a base.
