Do you decorate with one kind of ornaments or is your tree covered special one of a kind ornaments?

We have over 1,000 ornaments on our tree and there are not any two aloke, they are mostly handmade ones and special ones given to each of us thru out the years!

well this year is pastel blue & silver, but before I had the little DS and when he get older to appreciate them I have a massive collection of Thomas pacconi glass baubles in all shapes and sizes, but I just darent get them out with him,he has looked at them and Shocked he said wowwwwwwww and that said errr no not this year again! I have allowed one of my carousel collections to come out he is allowed to turn it on and off but not play with the horses etc
and my snowglobes are out but he knows he has not to touch them without me been about. Geez why did I buy collector pieces lol!!

Last year we had 2 trees... one that the girls decorate with a mix of family ornaments collected over the years & garland that looks like candy. Smile The other was my Victorian tree done in pinks, creams, whites, silver & gold. Smile

This year, we only have room for the family tree. It's different every year, as i t's only a 6.5 ft pencil tree & doesn't hold all of the ornaments. I'll try to post some pics later today. Smile

We have several color schemes or ornaments and whatever leftovers I have, I fill bowls with around the house.
